Asbestos to uPVC Pipe Replacement

Legacy asbestos-cement pipework across the Greater Banjul Area was dismantled and replaced with uPVC for both transmission and distribution duty.

Asbestos pipe removal is a controlled operation, not a demolition job. The line is isolated, the material is handled and disposed of under the correct procedure, and the replacement is laid, jointed, pressure tested and commissioned before supply returns to the street.
